Who We Are
VDL Dental Prosthetics is a full-service dental laboratory based in Clinton, Massachusetts. We partner with private dental practices across New England to produce crown & bridge, implant, and removable restorations, fabricated by experienced technicians using a combination of digital workflows and hand craftsmanship.
Our clients are dentists, prosthodontists, and group practices throughout Worcester County, Greater Boston, and the wider New England region. We don't work with patients directly; everything we make is prescribed by a doctor and delivered case-by-case to their office.
Whether you're sending an intraoral scan, a traditional impression, or a complex implant case, our goal is the same: a restoration that seats cleanly, looks natural, and lasts.
Our History
VDL was founded by a small team of certified dental technicians and lab specialists who wanted to build a lab that treated every case, single-unit or full-arch, with the same attention to fit, contacts, and esthetics. Three decades later, we still operate that way.
Over the years we've grown from a single Clinton, MA location into a regional lab serving hundreds of practices across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont. As digital dentistry matured, we invested in CAD/CAM, milling, and 3D-printed model workflows so doctors using iTero, TRIOS, Medit, or Primescan can send cases without changing how they work.
What We Believe
Good lab work is consistent lab work. A dentist should be able to seat a crown from us in three minutes, not three minutes plus an adjustment appointment. That standard drives every step of our process, from initial design review to final QC.
We pair modern tools, digital design, 5-axis milling, high-resolution printing, with technicians who've been doing this for 20+ years. Technology speeds up the work; experience is what makes it fit.
How We Work With Dentists
We make it easy to send a case. Mail-in cases ship with a pre-paid UPS label you can generate on our site. Digital cases upload directly through our portal and route to design within hours. Local Massachusetts practices can request a courier pickup.
Every case includes a doctor-facing technician you can call directly, not a customer service queue. If something needs adjusting, we want to hear about it the same day, and we'll remake at no charge when the issue is on us.
Contact & Hours
VDL is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET. New practices are welcome, most onboard with a single test case and a phone call.
